Hello.
I am Djingo Django, self-employed DJ and entrepreneur and currently work in Fuerteventura.
Born and raised in Germany, I went to the Canary Islands in 2008 to live and work there from now on.
I discovered my passion for music as a child – so when I was 16 I decided to become a discotheque presenter (as DJs in East Germany were called) and started my DJ career with performances at weddings, company parties, in local youth clubs and on many other occasions. The circumstances that changed with the reunification of 1989 and the upcoming techno music prompted me to look for other fields of activity – but I remained true to the stage and the music.
With my activity in the hotel entertainment, I was again aroused the ambition to earn my life as a DJ and do what I do best – entertain people.
I also work as a radio DJ at the local station HolaFM Radio Fuerteventura
One of my projects at HOLA FM: the DJINGO DJANGO – RADIOSHOW – always on Tuesdays from 21:00 Canary Time (22:00 CET) deals with the classics of rock and pop music as well as with the current charts worldwide. Here the link to TuneIn: http://tunein.com/station/?stationId=124243
However, I developed a special passion for the music style Electrolatino, to which I dedicate my own programme where I present the latest hits and also mix live.
As a show presenter I have already been booked for various events, e.g. the 25th International World Cup in windsurfing and kiteboarding at Playa de Sotavento, the Oktoberfest in Caleta de Fuste in 2017 and others.
